My Review: A Moment With Mystee Blog - With the passing of his grandmother, Kale {a Vampire} finds all he has left is her home, the items within it and and a letter left for him by her at the nursing home. Is his destiny really in Savannah, GA -- as his grandma tells him after her death?

Knowing she'd never lead him wrong, he arrived in Savannah, only to run into the man in his dreams. Literally and in more ways than one. He'd spent many nights dreaming of this man while he slept. How was it that he really existed?

Was Savannah his destiny or his funeral? He seemed to find his guardian angel there, but also seemed to meet those who wanted him dead.

This was a great short story. When I was finished, I wanted to know more. More of Kale's Grandma, more of his parents, more of their rogue Vampires and how Sev came to watch over Kale. I will definitely be looking for more Keta Diablo.

Big enough for two with a lovely bed (complete with resident teddy bear) this charming cottage features a woodstove, a rocking chair, and a welcome basket of sweets and souvenirs. Toward the end of a long, hot summer day, catch a cool breeze, smell the pine and feel the crunch of cones beneath your feet. Observe the chipmunks scampering through the leaves, and envy the hummingbirds feeding and blue jays calling out.

Celebrate life with an exotic adventure! In spicy and sensual Morocco you can explore corkscrew city alleyways in Marrakech, relax in seaside Essaouira and hike through the High Atlas Mountains. During the day, the mountains are your natural playground, but hike with a guide and chances are you'll encounter his friends and family as you explore. 

Palm-fringed beaches, verdant terraced rice paddies, and some of the friendliest people on earth, the Indonesian island of Bali would be a top-pick for a romantic getaway. Bali's attractions are legendary: from its secluded surfing beaches to its mountain craft villages and myriad colorful street-side shrines in between. This island embodies eroticism. So seductive is Bali's charm I guarantee you’ll fall in love (Preferably with the person you arrived with).

Rand has held up his end of the bargain and now he wants Frank to hold up his. Frank’s latest case means traveling to the Big Easy and in turn, bringing Rand into the fold as a part of the PI business. Rescuing two young boys from an angry ghost is making Frank uneasy. He’s never come across such a strong paranormal force and doesn’t want Rand caught in the crossfire. However, Rand is tired of Frank’s overprotective nature and it leads to events that could change their lives forever.

Crossroads: Shadowland is the fourth story of the Crossroads series. Keta Diablo’s characters are evolving with each new tale. Frank is allowing more of his emotions to surface. While I know he’s not comfortable with expressing his love, his protectiveness and willingness to give Rand what he needs says a great deal about the big man. Rand is still young, as you could tell with some of his reactions to Frank’s protectiveness, but he is starting to come into his own. I believe when Frank starts to see him as a mature adult he will loosen the reins some, but will still try to protect the man he loves.

Traveling to New Orleans for this story was a nice change of setting. I loved the secondary characters, and the plot of Crossroads: Shadowland. I have no doubt there is more to come just from the ending of this tale, but the question that I was left with is will Rand and Frank stay together? I’m anxiously awaiting the next installment to get that answer and to see if the events have left Frank more protective or if he will see the error of his ways.
